Our brand was created when our founder, Jamilla Cooper, became tired of using products that were ineffective at moisturizing her dry, curly hair. A former self-professed product junkie, Jamilla was dissatisfied with products on the natural hair care market that either did not focus on natural ingredients or were too pricey to be used on a regular basis. As a native of Trinidad and Tobago, Jamilla used her knowledge of tropical ingredients to craft a line of hair products that focused on moisturizing hair, promoting hair growth and length retention.
Bougainvillea Naturals is a company focused on serving the needs of curly and coily hair. All of our products are hand made in small batches from scratch right here in Central FL. We focus on sustainably sourcing our raw materials from local Florida owned businesses where possible. We are a black and woman owned small business and pride ourselves on our customer service.
